Krypton P2P decentralized marketplace: Full Tutorial Beginners guide

Krypton is an android marketplace where you can buy tokens in exchange for your goods and services streamed across the whole world for any potential buyer to see in the form of and advertisement. Although it is very new to the crypto scene, the creator is working every single day and night to improve its services and bring true quality on your android devices. But what good is an app if you don’t know how to use it? Exactly! Below I’ve written a full beginners guide tutorial on how to use Krypton.

Home screen Basics

Don’t get scared!

Tor (0-4+): If it says 0 that means you’re not connected to the blockchain (Krypton) and from 1-4 you’re connected and can start viewing ads and trading information.

Full Node: Users will have the whole information about krypton blockchain but when off you’ll get the info from another phone

Difficulty: The current mining difficulty

Mining:When it's on and you have 50 tokens, you reserve a small portion of your phone's CPU power to run the blockchain enabling faster picture loads and token transfers.

Server: If you have the whole krpton blockchain on your phone AKA full node. Krypton users will be able to download blocks (Information) off your phone and view KRC tokens.

QR code: This is how you’ll receive funds and when you tap it, your public key will be will be copied to your phone’s clipboard so you can purchase KRC tokens.

Send button:  With this, we can send other KRC users our tokens so they can place ads.

Search: This allows us to search for anything we want to buy across the Krypton blockchain.

Important: When you first start up the app, make sure you check the “Full Node” switched OFF so you don't download Krypton blockchain. Then wait a few minutes for it to show “Tor (1-4+)” which indicates you are connected to Krypton and can begin using its services.

Updating Krypton Profile 

Before we actually start doing anything on Krypton, we need to update our profile so when a buyer is interested in the product, the individual will now how to contact us.

Step 1: tap on the settings Icon

Step 2: Scroll to the bottom of the page

Step 3: Fill in The contact details with your information

Your information is being saved, Carry on.

For notes you can just add the type of things you sell

Getting your Krypton (KRC) Tokens

Before we actually start placing our goods or services on Krypton for the whole world to see, we need Krypton tokens! So this is exactly how to do that:

Step 1

On the home screen, simply click on the QR code (that box with boxes and black lines) and it will say “Public key copied to clipboard”

Step 2

Contact the owner via kryptontokens@protonmail.com with your public key and you should be able to buy KRC tokens using Bitcoin.

We’ve just bought our KRC tokens and ready to start advertising our products or services over an encrypted network.

Don’t forget the creator is giving out 1000 KRC tokens for free and you can still get them by contacting him.

How to place ad

Since we have our tokens we need to know how to place an advertisement.

Step 1: On the home screen, click the pencil button icon

Step 2: Below edit your tokens:

Title: Type in your product or service that should be displayed on krypton

Part number: 0-10

Picture URL: Note:  upload your images online and get the url online and paste it in “Picture Url” then tap on “TEST” to upload your picture (It will take time to show).

Currency: Specify the currency with its symbol then acronym only in dollars to avoid conversion issues. It should be like this “$USD or an Altcoin of your choice e.g BTC, LTC, Dash etc.

Sale price: Is the price you’re asking for your product or service and has to be in dollars or Altcoin like seen above.

Quantity: How much of your product you have to sell.

Weight kg, Length cm, width cm and Height cm: You know better!

Description: Specify what condition your product is in, how long you’ve had it, if you’ve used it or if it’s brand new and anything else relevant to the product you’re displaying.

Search1, 2and 3: Add keywords (words that are related to your product e.g Sony playsation 4, PS4, game console, better than Xbox.

If you want little icons to show up on your ad, Add one of these commands in one of the search boxes.

What if you want to know what items are being sold on Krypton? Well that’s easy!

Step 1: On the home screen, tap on the calendar

Alternative: tap on the search icon on the home screen

Step 2:  Just tap search on the right

Transfer Tokens

Why would I want to sell my tokens that I use to advertise??!! Good question. Maybe a new user wants to advertise their goods and services on krypton and can just buy them straight of the user on the platform.

This way the users can make cash

Step 1: tap the right arrow icon on the home screen

Step 2: If you want send a Token (ad space) tap “GET ID”

Step 3:  Select amount: of ad spaces (Tokens) you want to send to the user

Step 4: Paste their public key or scan their QR code.

Step 5: tap transfer
