Nintendo 3ds quick review, specifications and future predictions

Nintendo has been rising up with its incredible consoles and content for innocent game lovers around the world. It has been a few years now and has made a huge impact on the market so how does the Nintendo 3ds hold up now? This device has impressed everyone since the very day it released and added great features that we’ve never seen before on portable gaming consoles.

The Nintendo 3ds changes how the gamer view games completely with its spectacular 3d viewing mode that makes the player feel more involved than before. Although Nintendo has done a lot of portable gaming devices and consoles this one adds more style and cutting edge technology.

The Nintendo 3ds is a dual screen handheld console that harnesses the full power of 3d technology and integrates it in the top screen with a handy slider control that gives you the power to turn it on or off at will. The bottom half has the standard button layout we’ve seen on previous consoles but the only difference is they’ve added buttons just below the screen that makes it look flashy and well designed.

This device supports gaming on the move and has a new stylish design we’ve never seen on previous devices as it looks glossier than ever. This device the ability to capture photos in 3d .
I feel like they have done a great job with the 3d part of this device not only does it give you the option to go 3d but you can use that same 3d to play your favorite games and can control it at will.

The handheld experience feels a bit bulky but not to the point to stress, you are still able to comfortably tap all the buttons with not that much difficulty to worry about. As same as always the bottom half’s screen supports touchscreen up to 5 fingers which is usually interactive during gameplay whilst you enjoy the action on the top part of the screen.

As for outdoor gaming you can easily turn up the brightness and tilt the screen to get a suitable view of your screen as the sound it doesn’t sound that bad for a gaming device but let’s say doable but if you have a Bluetooth speaker you can just link it up and enjoy gaming. The device also supports an SD card slot so you can store data such as music, pictures, videos and music.

We all know this device is used for gaming but also provides good content outside of gaming as well such as: Wi-Fi, internet surfing, videos, music and photos to keep you entertained throughout the day if you want to take a break from gaming as long as you have enough battery life.

This device on a full charge can last you up to 4 hours just gaming alone and it also depends if you have the 3d on or not but with 3d on it’s around 3.4 hours but off gaming apps such as music can last up to 6.5 hours as for videos around 3 hours.
This device is dedicated to teens that are bit mixed stay at homes and are mobile at the same time but also kids as they like to be kept busy during trips and with company. Which makes it a perfect companion on long lengthy trips.

The Nintendo  3ds can handle a few light sprays of water and is a bit rough on wet fingers on the screen but isn’t water proof or water resistant so if you do manage to get water on the device then I’d advise you to try get rid of it before it gets ruined. Dust on the device is unfriendly and is hard to get rid of especially on the controls and will mess up the dual screens.  Just try your best not to use this device in very humid places and you’ll be fine.

This gaming device has an older sibling XL which is ridiculously big and improves picture quality up close the 3ds xl still has the same pre-installed apps the only difference being you get a bigger display and better 3d as a result.

This device along with some of Nintendo’s products is a on the go product which means you can virtually take this product with you anywhere it can easily fit into your backpack or pockets effortlessly. The Nintendo 3ds can be quietly be enjoyed in small spaces such as trains or cars and you won’t experience any trouble using this device in a small space at all you can get comfortable and play for as long as you have enough battery power.

The future is looking quite stable for the DS and although it’s not being mentioned nowadays you’d be surprised how well this device holds up and totally worth looking at.
Overall this device still holds up great along with Nintendo’s products and comes in different range of colors and is really light too. If you’re looking for a portable gaming device with great features then I highly recommend this product. The dual screens adds a nice touch to navigation and interaction to maximize hand eye coordination.
