10 incredible cool ways people are using their smartphones nowadays

Every morning we wake up and go along with what life has planned for us. We use the same technology to get work done all the time but others have found smart ways to utilize their smartphones. For those with high end smartphones understand the extreme performance their device can deliver. It’s not only that but they can also use the internet and specifically designed applications to enhance their everyday phones.

You usually use your phone for texting, calling, browsing and many more and for us who have some extra time have found apps and tricks that makes our experience a lot better. You can use whatever is below for your advantage and even take the time to write a comment related to this. Anyways here are the 10 cool ways people are using their smartphones nowadays.

Making Money

Yes seriously! You can easily make some extra money at home using your smartphone anytime you feel like it. I’ve made some money before with some several apps. Actually I have an article on Top 10 apps for making money using your phone which you can check out! This is ideal if you want some extra spending money or in the long run buy yourself sets of clothes and gadgets.

 You have various ways of redeeming your money through gift cards or payout services like Web money, PayPal and many more. What you make is entirely up to you and what is even better is that you don’t need qualifications or whatsoever to do this. The internet has enabled us to do so much more and making money is one of the best reasons.

Streaming

They’re different levels to this so I’ll start with the simplest method which is just phone streaming. This allows users to directly stream other phones using the same Wi-Fi network. This is really cool because let’s say your main phone is charging and you get a whatsapp message you can simply answer the message on your other phone. Some apps require root for this but it works great. The next level streaming is using the app Splashtop. This lets the user to connect their phones to a computer via the same network.

 

This allows you to have a Windows 7-10 experience on your smartphone. You can even map controls and play games using the app! This is just next level. The best part is with a couple of dollars you can stream from anywhere on the globe! Let’s say you’re at work and forgot to copy a presentation that’s on your desktop at home you can fetch it using your smartphone effortlessly. Just email it to your phone! Which is easy peasy.

Changing OS

Yes indeed! You can change your operating system to widely known ones. But you do need root for this. I’ve personally tried this with a high end phone which has 6GB ram just to support Windows 7 which ran very smoothly. Doing this is somehow complicated but they’re guides that make things a bit easier to understand. You might want to change to the cyanogen mod version of your phone or just play counter strike on your phone but it’s very possible.

Many people do this for the purpose of testing different scripts and mods and even commands. Although this is a very fun experience just make sure you use this wisely or else you might end up accidently bricking your phone.

Programming

Another one for root users using apps such as tasker apk can make you program anything on your smartphone. Let’s say you want to save some data on whatsapp and every time you open the app it should automatically switch on the data so you can read your messages. After that you decide to minimize or close the app the Data automatically switches phone so you don’t have to worry.  You can also use apps to register your gesture to open up an app.

I might want to use Google Chrome but don’t feel like going all the way to my app drawer and swiping until I see chrome but luckily I can find a gesture app that allows me to swipe down on the home screen and chrome launches form there. This saves a lot of time which leads to more time.

Smartphone surveillance

 As the Subtitle suggests you can use any old smartphone that connects to a Wi-Fi network strategically placed around a house or area for surveillance! This works really well if your Wi-Fi network has a long range because you can basically cover more area. They’re smartphones that can pick up extremely low light and make the image look very visible. But surveillance doesn’t only have to deal with cameras.

YOU as an individual can also turn your smartphones to a sound detector which can then in turn trigger an alarm and even call the police for you. Last but not least is motion sensor. With this you can easily track doors or windows for movement which in turn can also send an alarm to your phone or the police which is really smart.

From household items to everyday electronics you can easily control them from your smartphone. This goes on different levels so just try to keep up.  Manufacturers are now developing gadgets that can be controlled from your very own smartphone! When I go to TomTop INT I see crazy things like Controllable light bulbs and Drones that can be controlled by the user with a smartphone.

This app allows the user to replace their broken input devices and is controlled by a smartphone. You do need a WI-FI connection for this but a hotspot would do as well. What I love about this app is that it allows you to quick start apps and also has a music remote type feature.

When you’ve placed your computer far away from you and connected it to a HDMI TV you might feel lazy to stand up and control the computer just to play a certain movie. This app allows you to do that without moving an inch. One might want to use this in a PowerPoint presentation or however they like.

Simulations

This saves a lot of time and money! Not only that but it’s also faster and better than actually doing the actual thing. I might want to buy a house but don’t feel like leaving my couch and driving out to the actual plot. With my smartphone I can virtually look at the house and decide if it’s worth buying it all from my phone. This also applies on pre building a house on my smartphone before actually building it.

Others might have virtual playgrounds using oculus or might want to test a phone virtually. Thanks to technology we can more like experience more using VR technology with a smartphone. I can easily test out conditions to actually see how it would be like if I was involved.

Spying
