How to Increase gaming performance on a low spec computer

Some of us are behind technology to the point it has overtaken us. Most of the new released games require high specs that some of us can’t demand and it leads to the point whereby we force ourselves to enjoy laggy low quality setting games because we can’t find the right tools to boost our gaming. The problem might be software or hardware so here are the best ways to increase gaming performance on your low end computer.

1.Game Booster
Game booster is a popular computer optimizing software that creates the right conditions for you to play your games as smooth as the software can handle. The other great thing about this software is that it can defrag your games and has usb controller built in support. Games can be boosted by a single click which sets you up real fast.

2.Egpu
External GPU is a dedicated box that combines PCIe slot,a desktop-style power supply, and a full-sized graphics card that plugs into your laptop. When you do, you have gaming desktop power and connectivity without having to change the design of your laptop.

3.Overclocking your Dual core processor
Huge companies such as AMD and Intel, offer unlocked versions of their processors, making overclocking simpler. Overclocking a processor can also lead to permanent damage so it’s very important to only do this to a motherboard that supports overclocking or you can ruin your computer for good. Go down below and read my post How to Overclock a Dual core processor.

4.Update your Drivers
Updating your drivers can really help especially graphic drivers. Some companies don’t automatically allow you to use the full power of your graphics drivers so you have to frequently update them to get the best results from games. To update your drivers simply right click on this pc or computer go to manage next click on Device manager and simply go to the driver you want to update right click and update( you need internet connection for this!)

5. Upgrade to an SSD Hardrive
You can finally upgrade to an SSD drive. This will make your computer run faster but can be expensive and overall have less storage. But it might just be worth your wait.

6. Add more RAM
This is easy because all you need to do is nap out the sticks and add swap in new ones which increases overall computer performance and so for games.
Although I’ve listed some ways to increase gaming performance I find the best way is to build or buy a Egpu so you don’t have to physically tamper with your laptops and some can be manually built as a DIY project.

7. Graphics Card
If your device can easily snap out the graphics card then I’d advise you to get a newer model with more ram which will obviously boost your Computer. The graphics card is essential for fast gaming and also adds cool features such as 90fps which looks smooth as silk. The essential tools for gaming is usually the graphics cards.
