J7 Prime full review, thoughts and specifications

Samsung without a doubt has really cool devices on their site and they’re basically a large global technology company that have decades of experience meeting the user’s needs. With crazy types of phones you could even spend a whole day just figuring out which device matches you and when they run out of numbers they just use letters which makes this a great company.

We’ve seen nice phones here and there from Samsung but just months back Samsung released the galaxy J7 prime and I wanted to my full review on the device and my thoughts on it as well and how strong does it tie itself with the user.
This review is just recapping on Samsung’s latest products and the most preferred by users.

The Samsung Galaxy j7 prime is a 5.5 Inch HD TFT display smartphone with 2.5 D curved glass that looks incredibly good built with metal plate that makes it look wonderful. With the bigger screen the display looks amazing and so detailed. On the other J series smartphones I’ve noted that they use Amoled displays but this is different for the Galaxy J7 Prime and I have no complains about the screen because the screen still looks amazing and better than the other j series phones.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor and it comes with 3GB of RAM. The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.

The build quality is out of metal for this device which makes it look very premium. The device feels nice in hand but the only problem you will be facing is slipperiness if you use this device with one hand you might accidentally drop it since it is made out of metal. Another thing to note (not the Galaxy note) is that this device’s screen being 5.5 inches it doesn’t really suite one handed use. It is possible to use one hand but a little difficult because of the build quality and the size of the phone.

I like how Samsung has put the speaker at the right side of the device because when you lay your phone on a flat surface it won’t muffle the sound and it also feels louder which a great job is done by Samsung and I give a thumbs up to that. But you can’t lay your phone on the side (highly not recommended) to listen to music because the device being made of mostly metal.

At the front of the device the home button has a fingerprint sensor which is very convenient for this type of this device because you don’t have to keep on reaching for the power button on the side but instead just softly press the home button with your finger to wake it up. I find it very annoying when the screen goes off and you have to use the power button to wake it up back and forth but now you can use the sensor which is very convenient.

It would have been even better if Samsung provided more space on the Galaxy J7 prime as it comes with16 GB internal storage but it’s still great that this device can support micro SD cards up to 265 GB but I would’ve preferred it if it at least came with 32 GB space but I guess that’s not a huge deal as you can easily expand it.

The galaxy J7 Prime comes in android marshmallow 6.0 right off the box we can expect this phone to be upgradable to 7.0 Nougat and other versions as it isn’t that old and somehow new.

This device comes in 4G which is very good for users that like their content fast but it’ll cost you some valuable data if you decide to use 4G so keep that in mind.

This device doesn’t support fast charging like other Galaxy smartphones and I personally thought that the J7 prime needed one but that didn’t happen.

Out of the 16 GB of space you can only use 10 GB (the 6 GB reserved for system use) and doesn’t really come with bloat ware applications just some Microsoft, Google and Samsung apps.
