10 CRUCIAL Things to do before buying a gaming device!!
When we see something we like in stores we usually buy it and
this is where the problem starts most people don’t know a clue about the
consoles or devices they’re buying today and when they don’t like what they
bought at the end of the day it makes you very picky in future and makes you
trust on the only few things you’ve actually looked at.
For the most of the time we usually check out these devices but do you know what exactly you should be looking for.
I’ve seen a lot of people just drop things into their basket because they think it’s great but how are you supposed to know that if you’ve never experienced it for yourself. Before you even drop it in the cart these are the top 10 things to do before buying a gaming device.

10. Read the Specs
I’ve seen so many people disappointed in their gaming devices
because they couldn’t do certain things on it such as connect it to a HDTV or
doesn’t have that much battery to satisfy their gaming needs which leads to a
lot of regretting. So before purchasing the device take time to look back of
the box and quickly sift the specs and that you’re sure it has all the
requirements you need.
Sometime you could come across a random gaming device that
looks cool and thinking what the heck let me buy this thing but you shouldn’t.
If you know what you’re looking for then go ahead but if you’re not sure then
just someone about it and look at the specifications.
9. Compare
Doing comparisons is very crucial take PS4 and XBOX one for
an example if you look at which device suites your needs then it’s a no brainer
although we can prefer one over the other it’s still important to see which one
offers more so you don’t lose out( I’m sensing a Debate in the comments section).
This is like the previous step but the only thing is you’re
comparing over a wide range of devices and obviously the design matters as well
but they’re nice websites out there that do comparison tables and all you do is
see the one that fits you.
8. Bulkiness
Nothing hurts more than having an extremely heavy portable
gaming device which makes you question why you even bought it in the first
place. A lot of companies are making “slim” devices that are designed to reduce
space whether it’s portable or stationary space is still important.
It doesn’t matter if you have all the space in the world it’s
just that a bulky device can easily overheat if crowded by your media systems
and your “gaming area” won’t look as nice so presentation is very important so
people don’t think you’re all over the place.
7. Storage
I have people wining to me that they don’t have enough space
on their devices and how they want to import crazy types of media on to it.
Your device might be specifically built for gaming but also offers
entertainment on the go so you don’t get easily bored. So do yourself a favor
and pick a high storage device.

If you need help with a high storage portable device you can
always leave a comment and I’ll always be happy to give you a few pointers.
Storage is your friend if you run out of it you’ll only have yourself to blame.
6. Price
Well Galactivale you’re so obvious! Yes I am. Price is very
important because they’re special deals going around because some of us shop
locally but we don’t know about and you’ll just end up spending a lot of money
simply because the price tag says so which is really important to go to other
sites or stores and actually see which one cheaper.
People nowadays are so desperate to purchase a device without
actually looking at other options because you can find another product for that
same price but 2X better but we let visuals take over and just simply
purchasing because the picture tells us to.

5. Features
I think this is very important because I’ve actually seen
some cool features on consoles such as the PS3 and PS4 being able to actually
connect the PS Vita, Xperia phones and use it as a controller or mirror which
means you can enjoy playing games in your room while your console is in the
other room.
A lot of consoles require you to go premium to use the
simplest apps such as XBOX requiring you to be a member just to browse the
internet which doesn’t sound right but it’s not like you can do anything about
that it’s just a take it or leave it type of situation.
4. Games available
Nothing sounds worse than buying a console but only to find
out it only supports kiddish content which is great for parents with kids but
the teens and adults not so much. If you go back to the old consoles you will
probably notice they’ve stopped updating the games on it because simply nobody
uses it anymore so if nobody uses it why should they be creating more games.
Although some of us are behind a bit on tech the only option
you have is to find a game that suites you. If you have a PSP you can still
pull fantastic games on the web by searching PSP Roms on Google. Content is very important because when you
can’t find the type of games you want to play on the device this is really
upsetting.
3. Review
the product
When you come across something cool and want to buy it just
look for a review on that product it basically tells you everything you need to
know about the product but just make sure to go on sites where the user isn’t
biased. I also do full reviews on products people have requested and answer if
not most but all the problems the users might have right away.
This is great because that’s when you know to trust this
product and learn a lot from it as well. Go below and read my reviews to get a
clear picture of what I’m talking about. This is a great option if you have a
spare 10 minutes at hand which really helps you understand the product in much
depth.
2. Ask your
trusted friends
When you don’t know then simply ask this is the far one of
the best things you can do. Usually people end up buying me garbage because
they didn’t ask me what I specifically wanted e.g Tablet and end up buying
knock offs which really throws me off. Asking well experience friends is the
way to go not only do they have an idea of what you want but they can also
straight up tell you other devices that fit you as well.
They most likely know a guy who could sell you one at a cheap
price and hook you up with some decent games. But only do this to friends who
actually know their stuff. I usually tell people short info about the product
they’re interested in then say some important specs deal with portability and
usually suggest more gaming devices that seems to fit them and list prices.
1. Get professional help
This is far the best thing there is but is not easily
available. Usually the companies such as Nintendo, PlayStation, Samsung, Apple etc.
Offer help on their websites and you can ask any question you need to. I would
be glad to answer all your gaming needs on the comment section so be sure to leave
a comment below.
Getting professional help really clears out many issues you may be facing and this gives you a clear image on the product and a good review. But I’m not really sure if their websites have live chat because emailing can seem to take forever.

Lastly
So don’t just lurk around products but actually do some
research on it so you don’t get easily fooled because this is how people get
away with high quality fakes. Just make sure you know the brand very well to
spot a fake from a mile and you might not be doomed. Just take the chance to go
to other sites as well so you get good deals which I highly recommend you try.
But other than that you can always ask me to if you’re
interested in a particular product you’re not familiar with Because at the mean
time I am actually taking requests and expect the personal request being
handled within days. Make sure your questions are tech gadget based so I can
quickly write up something and have it delivered at your doorstep.
