What’s the best operating system you should choose on a smartphone / Tablet device 2018?

Everyday day billions around the globe use their smartphones for daily tasks and although some people may not be aware of it but, what’s the best OS in a smartphone? Growing up I’ve had different smartphones such as Blackberry’s, Nokia’s, Sony’s and Samsung phone’s and many more. They all offered some great features that singles out them out from the rest and I just wanted to give you in depth view on each operating system I I’ve personally used and pile them out in a list.

Before I do that I just want to say that everybody’s different and we all have our own tastes but the winner of this post will be based entirely on functionality and performance. New buyers are now looking for smartphones and don’t want to make a mistake choosing an operating system that would be hard for them to navigate. Without a doubt I’ve had one of the worst experiences on phones because of the lack of features and the User interface was just so bad for my taste which made me never look into those types of phones ever again.

WINDOWS

I’ve always been happy with the way windows took things to the next level especially on Computers with the whole introduction of windows 10 which is super-fast and has the best graphic user interference that singles it out from its competitors and as far as the Computer operating system is so well I can’t say so much about the smartphone version.

The thing about the windows smartphone OS is that the User interference is not as I hoped it to be. You essentially get a dark black background and some tiles you can change colour too. It’s hard to navigate just by the home screen and has a swipe search option so it can put you a little bit at ease. If you thought the user Interference was terrible just by a first glance then you’re right! To add on, when you go to the store you’ll have a heck of a time looking for your favourite apps (If they even exist on that platform) because you most likely won’t find them at all. The notifications pad look acceptable and has all the basic necessities but is not editable and I don’t know if it’s just me but in order to turn on the mobile data I need to go all the way to settings Instead of the usual drop down notifications bar.

Overall using this Windows OS just added a whole bunch of problems on my plate. The most upsetting part is how confusing it looks just to download a YouTube video and how you couldn’t download anything in terms of applications from the net at will. But at the end of the day it’s your money and I’ll never invest in a windows OS smartphone ever again.

Blackberry

This company started out strong selling its latest smartphones to celebrities and having a good image everybody could recognize but in recent years all of that started fading away because a lot of people started getting tired of its plainness.

The Blackberry OS has to be the worst operating system that could be possibly out there. Because even on its latest models I don’t think I’ve seen an update request pop up on my home screen or whatsoever. When reached the era of blackberry everything was so cool and I just wanted one because everybody had one. As much as I hate the small tiny screen I still feel like the operating system is far worse. The most useless of thing being the app world. Not only where the applications and games mostly java inspired but it’s impossible to get new titles. The UI is kinda stylish but I’D HATE how you have to drag the tracker ball or touch pad just to choose an app and they tried to curve that by introducing touchscreen which is definitely not worth it.

Although the UI looks good, the navigation is really terrible and so is its lack of interesting features and up to date software. I feel like in a kinda sense that they gave up on their old operating system and just chose to work together with Android so everything the company loss can and will be restored.

IOS

As much as I don’t want to admit it but the IPhone’s that run IOS actually look good and I can see why a lot of people love them. Everything can be kept away nicely into folders (unlike windows) and the home screen is everything the user will ever need. I’m not a big IOS fan but I promise that I’d pick it over the windows operating system.

Like I said before, everything in the home screen has a potential to be tidy and clean but that’s all up to you. But as far as the app store goes if you know that you don’t like to pay for anything then I’d advise you to step off on the IOS powered device and just wait further below when options are most flexible. The huge trouble which anyone could agree with me is that you basically can’t download anything direct from the browser be it Chrome, Safari, Mozilla whatsoever. To download the simplest of videos you need to head over to the app store and find that one app that will download MP4 videos which is a long and boring process. With smartphone’s like the IPhone X and 8 and so on I don’t know how the owners will cope having to buy most games just to test the true turn colour display and the A8 bionic chip. I guess if you can afford blowing thousands of dollars on a phone like that then it means you don’t mind spending tens of dollars just for apps.

In conclusion I say that the iPhone has an incredible User interface which looks very bright in all but can easily be messy without taking good care and making folders. Although it has a good UI I feel like they did a bad job in the features department because I’ve never seen an operating system so limited but costs the same prices as a laptop with a 1TB hard drive and 2GB GTX1050 NVIDIA graphics card. If you don’t mind paying hundreds to thousands of dollars in return for a good UI and have to buy everything you could possibly want or hope it’s for free on the app store then you may do so.

Android

As you’ve possibly guessed from just looking at the title of this post the best operating system this world has ever seen is yours truly Android.  Without a doubt there’s no operating system that can remotely beat this OS. The reason Android is number one is that not only can you customize the UI as you wish but you can also download themes directly from the store and do whatever you want on the homepage and still have an access to an app drawer which orders everything neatly. Not only that but the flexibility of the OS is just insane I mean you can download literally anything from the internet, listen to free music provided by and have mods on your device to make have all these app store applications that let you download everything for free such as One mobile market, Mobojenie, Apk4fun and many more. Android releases frequent updates to the current softwares and overall provides better features than any other operating system on the planet.  So much that companies are integrating android to work alongside with Windows 10 on PC tablets.

I personally recommend everyone out there to start looking deeply at android devices because they have way more to offer than anything operating system on this list. The beauty about android is the continuous updates that look different from the rest. Nobody could say that Kitkat and Lollipop look similar and that’s only one version difference!
