How to prevent your smartphone’s screen from getting damaged
You’ve just bought a new smartphone or trying to care for the one you have and want to prevent it from breaking or cracking screen but after some time it all happens again leading you to get a new phone or repairing the current one you had. Trying to save yourself from a messy screen is a huge task to take at hand I’ve had this sort of thing happen to me as well! Sometimes I’d wake up in the middle of the night to a device dropping to the ground and to my surprise I had to spend cash just to repair the damages.
If you’re like me then you know that cracking your smartphone’s screen is one of the worst feelings especially if the smartphone is brand new and you’ve blown hundreds of dollars just to buy your “new smartphone”. The worst thing about discovering that your screen has been smashed into bits is that you might ask yourself “who’ll pay for the damages?” or “Does my touchscreen still work?” and just to let you know that some devices penalize you for trying to swipe on the screen and result to nasty cuts and bruises. However your phone got cracked in the first place this How to guide will teach you how to prevent your smartphone’s screen from breaking/ cracking. Also check out!

Don’t sleep with your smartphone
Remember how you’d tuck your smartphone under the pillow before you go to sleep? Yeah me too and I learned the hard ward way no to do that. I used to this with Tablets and smartphones a lot and after a few months some undesirable movements cost me a couple hundreds of dollars. Some people end up doing this because they’re way too tired to set their phone down on a proper surface and don’t have the energy to move since they’re too tired. I remember there was this time I used to sleep with my Laptop and Tablet because the only way to charge my phone was to connect via USB and one night I heard a crashing sound under my bed and woke up to it. After inspections I was devastated that my tablet (which was fixed twice now!) had been wrecked.
To avoid this scenario ever existing you should never sleep with your phone and always make sure to have that special desk next to your bed so when it’s time to go to bed then you can just tag your phone out for a couple of hours. When you’re on your bed and feel like dozing off you could even sit upright leaning against a bed stand or wall so you don’t plummet and wake up to a smashed screen.
Buy a heavy duty screen protector
This Is extremely important especially if you’re the type that breaks everything in a few weeks. I’ve always thought that screen protectors just limit your screen display and make your phone look thicker and although a few of them do I’d rather have a slightly thicker phone than a cracked screen. Screen protectors like the name suggests protect your screen in trade of a millimetre thickness and because of that it will take longer for you to buy that new phone.
The best types of screen protectors in my opinion are heavy duty corning gorilla glass screen protectors because they’re ultrathin and extremely durable on average it would take like 5 falls from waist height for the screen protector to show signs of damage. It’s always good to test out those screen guards before committing to them because some others are not very strong and can usually only handle one fall and they’re completely done for.
Phone covers
Not only do they protect your phone but they’re some really cool covers that cover the screen edges and can actually prevent heavy drops even from chest height. I’ve grown up using phone covers in alternative to screen protectors and they do a pretty good job. Some covers are standard and only protect the phone itself and the better ones actually have a magnetic flap and protect your phone as a whole which is extremely worth all those dollars.
Phone covers go at a good price when you visit great stores such as TOMTOP and as is totally inexpensive so you can use the links provided to help you find your Low priced smartphones. Whether I’d wanted to or not I found a few problems with covers because the headphone jack would not fit all the way and I’d end up removing my cover just to listen to songs on my phone. Other than that I’ve had really good experiences with phone covers and make sure to get yours at the stores below.
Don’t press too hard
When playing that favourite game of yours or trying to get something to work on your screen you might get tempted to press that screen extra hard and you’d just regret it the second later. I’ve had experiences like this because I was too frustrated because I’d been losing in Morden combat 4. It’s basically a first person shooting game and when I wanted to shoot people I’d press harder on the shooting button in hopes of taking them down but that lead to a huge dark spot and a crack.
When using your phone take it easy and effortlessly and what most people don’t realize is with the slightest touch you can control your device without having to press too hard.
Leave the edge alone
When you set your phone down somewhere make sure it’s never close to the edge of the desk or bed etc. I’ve seen smartphones effortlessly fall of the edge because simply someone put it there in the first place. I always try not to leave my phone in corners and close to edges or else you’ll try to save the device from falling.
This “practised” habit often occurs at bed time when you’ve had enough of your smartphone and just want to go to sleep. The YOUser often ends up leaving their phone at the edge and somephone ends up facing down in the morning. To prevent this it’s as simple as moving the phone a few inches towards the centre.
Avoid leaving your device in direct sunlight
If your phone is getting more than 3+ hours of direct sunlight then that’s a real problem because your screen starts expanding and sooner or later you’ll start noticing crack around your whole screen which means that you need to replace it.
That’s all the ways I could possibly think of to prevent your phone from screen from damage . Not only are you helping the store but I’m what is known as an Affiliate for several online stores and just by doing a little as clicking on any link on my website that directs you to a store you can literally buy anything .
